WordPress website design and development

A WordPress site built for a business that needs the phone to ring. Designed around what you sell and who buys it, built so you can edit it yourself, and structured so Google can actually read it.

Who this is for

Most businesses that come to us are in one of two positions. Either there is no website at all and the business runs on a Facebook page and word of mouth, or there is a site somebody built years ago that nobody has touched since.

Both are fixable. A five-page site that loads quickly, says clearly what you do, and has a phone number and a working contact form will out-perform a forty-page site nobody can navigate. We would rather build you the first one.

What you get

1

A design made for your business

Not a stock theme with your logo dropped in the corner. We design the homepage first, you approve it, then we build the rest to match.

2

Pages you can edit yourself

Built on WordPress with the block editor set up so you can change your opening hours or add a service without emailing us first.

3

Written for search from the start

One clear page per thing you sell, a real title and description on each, internal links between them, and an XML sitemap submitted to Google.

4

Fast on a phone

Compressed images, no bloated page builder, and not twenty plugins doing the job of two. Most of your visitors are on a phone on mobile data.

5

Contact forms that reach you

Set up on your own domain email, tested before launch, with spam handling so the inbox stays usable.

6

Hosting on servers we run

We run our own cPanel hosting, so when something needs fixing we log in and fix it rather than opening a ticket with somebody else.

Sites we build often

  • Service businesses: trades, clinics, consultants, agencies
  • Restaurants, bars and cafes, with menus that are easy to keep current
  • Property and rental listing sites
  • Small WooCommerce shops
  • Shop sites paired with Doob Delivery so online orders land in a dispatch system
  • Brochure sites for businesses that mainly need to look credible and be findable

Common questions

How long does a WordPress site take to build?

A small site of one to five pages is usually two to three weeks from approved design, assuming we have your copy and images. Larger builds with custom functionality take longer, and you get a date in the written scope before we start.

Do I have to write the content?

You know your business better than we do, so we would rather start from your words. If writing it is the thing stopping the project, say so at the scope stage and we will agree who writes what and price it in.

Can I move the site somewhere else later?

Yes. It is a standard WordPress install. You own the domain and the site, and it can be moved to any WordPress host.

Do you work with businesses outside Bournemouth and Pattaya?

Yes. Most of the work is remote. Being split between the UK and Thailand means one of us is usually awake when you need something.
