The short answer
Big agencies win big-brand accounts, and their overheads are priced in. For most UK businesses, a small senior studio delivers the same quality of build for a fraction of the cost, because you are paying for the work, not a sales floor and a central-London office.
What actually matters: custom, maintainable code; a fixed written price; senior people (not juniors) on your project; and support you can reach after launch. We are a UK and Thailand studio that has built and rescued sites since 2014, working with clients across the UK and further afield by email and video call.
We will happily tell you when a bigger agency is the better fit. For everyone else, working directly with the builders is faster, cheaper and clearer.
What to compare
Who does the work
At a big shop, seniors sell and juniors build. With us, the people you brief are the people who write the code.
Custom vs template
Ask whether the build is bespoke or a themed template. We build custom sites and platforms on modern stacks, with no page-builder bloat.
Pricing model
Fixed-price protects you from scope creep. Open-ended day rates protect the agency. We quote fixed.
After launch
Care plans, hosting and a real person on support, because a website needs looking after once it is live, not just launching.
Common questions
How much does a UK website cost?
Basic WordPress set-up: £950. Launch site: £2,950 (custom build). Small business site: £5,750. WooCommerce: from £5,950. Custom WordPress: £6,500 when you need WordPress. All fixed-price, quoted in writing.
Do I need to be near you?
No. Most projects run by email and video call, so where you are makes little difference. We are based in Bournemouth, with a second base in Pattaya, Thailand, and we work with businesses across the UK and internationally.
Is a small studio risky for a bigger project?
We scope honestly. If a project genuinely needs a larger team, we tell you. Most "big" projects are smaller than they look once the fluff is removed.
Can you work alongside our marketing team or agency?
Yes. We are happy to be the development partner for an in-house marketing team or another agency, working to their brief and their deadlines.
